One tablespoon of spices like: ba jiao, xiang ye, hui xiang. |
Instructions
- In a pan, add three cups of chopped pepper. Fry till its dry.
- In a pan, add oil in a ratio of 5:1, warm the oil till about 240 degrees C or till the oil is almost clear.
- Put some sesame seeds into a colender and hang it over the hot oil till some of it starts jumping.
- Add in spring onions, ginger, and parsley and fry till it is golden yellow.
- After the oil cools down a bit, add in the anise. Fry for one minute and take out of pan.
- When the oil cools to about 200 decrees C, add in 1/3 of the dried pepper.
- When the oil cools down to about 140 degrees C, add another 1/3 of the dried pepper.
- Wait two hours then add in the last 1/3 of the dired pepper.
- Now add in the fried sesame.
- Chill for 24 hours before stirring.
